Your Action Figure Stinks!

Classic He-Man figure comes complete with his own stench

Unless you’re doing something we don’t want to know about, none of your action figures should have a smell. Well, Mattel is going to do something about that. Again.

Behold the classic reissue of Masters of the Universe lackey Moss Man, available only on Mattel’s collector website. Perhaps you remember Moss Man from the He-Man glory days of 1985, when he was first released. How could you forget your childhood glee upon first discovering Moss Man’s menacing face, his fuzzy green skin, his… fresh pine scent?

Yes, Moss Man was that rare toy that packed it’s own odor, yet wasn’t named Strawberry Shortcake. Sure in his sporadic cartoon appearances, Moss Man had the power to blend into the forest. But as a toy, he only had the power of smelling like a freshly washed kitchen floor.

There’s no word on whether Mattel will ever reissue Moss Man’s odor-packing nemesis, the evil Stinkor. If you recall, Stinkor looked like a skunk and basically smelled like a fart encased in plastic.
