Toying with Death
Hot Toys sweet Assassin’s Creed figure is totally killing it
Let’s face it. We're gamers. We tend to be a bit too uncoordinated to be cold-blooded assassins in real-life. (Although we have been known to murder an order of cheese fries from time to time.)
That’s why it’s so much fun playing the Assassin’s Creed games; it's the one place hand-eye coordination can keep you alive. Pick up Hot Toys
amazing figurine of Ezio—the titular assassin of Assassin’s Creed II—when it becomes available later this fall. Part of
Hot Toys’ Videogame Masterpiece series, the ridiculously detailed Ezio
collectible comes complete with all the weapons we’re incapable of using in
real life: a long sword, a short sword, two blades that hide inside his forearm
gauntlets and six throwing daggers that you can fan out three-at-a-time in each
of his hands.
The figurine stands roughly 30 cm tall, has 30 points of
articulation and does a surprisingly good job pulling off the cape-and-cowl
look. (Perhaps that was the Renaissance equivalent of wearing a hoodie.) Be
aware: though Ezio won’t come out till the fall, advance demand already has supply of the figures falling into single digits. Pre-orders are now up and
running.
Speaking of running, we're off to get some cheese fries.
