The hostile takeover of Earth by remarkably good-looking aliens continues tonight with the return of new episodes of V on ABC. But hey, the bloody end of humanity can’t be all that bad when it’s lead by the beautiful Anna, played by actress Morena Baccarin. Now’s your chance to get to know her better.

# 1 Anna’s short haircut is a complete fluke. Morena had already chopped her locks off prior to her audition, and the short ’do stuck.

# 2 She’s got comic book cred. One of Morena’s earliest roles was as the voice of DC superheroine Black Canary on the Cartoon Network series, Justice League Unlimited.

# 3 Morena claims to remember the original V miniseries from ’83, but never re-watched it to prepare for her audition or even once she landed the role of Anna.

# 4 She’s a waffler. Morena was born in Brazil and moved to New York when she was seven. She then moved back to Brazil and two years later moved back to New York.
