Who is Batman's Arch-Frenemy?
Christopher Nolan who? Check out DC's new Bat-DVD.
Having your sidekick turn against you is a real blow below the utility belt, but in Batman: Under the Red Hood, that's exactly what happens. When the mysterious Red Hood joins Gotham's gallery of vigilantes, Batman finds out he's got some competition. Much to the Dark Knight’s chagrin, the new kid kills bad guys instead of hand-delivering them to the five-o. For this, the Caped Crusader will not stand.
Making matters worse is the fact that under the Red Hood is Jason Todd, Batman's one-time Boy Wonder (and the most annoying Robin in recorded history). Who better to kill Batman than an exiled apprentice? Todd's intimate knowledge of the Dark Knight’s secrets and rituals are sure to provide ample ammunition in Red Hood's war of attrition. Throw Joker into the mix and Bats is in for the fight of his life.
This latest DC Universe direct-to-DVD animated feature was penned by Judd Winick (the writer originally responsible for Jason Todd’s Red Hood resurrection) and features top voice work by Neil Patrick Harris, Bruce Greenwood and John DiMaggio. Amazon’s got the exclusive on a two-disc limited edition featuring a full-color 3" x 5" litho cel with certificate of authenticity. Christopher Nolan may be taking a break from Batman movies, but that doesn't mean the rest of us have to.
