WIN!: CTN animation eXpo Pass

Spend three days rubbing elbows with the animation world's top talent.

Watching cartoons for a few dozen hours isn't a bad way to spend a weekend, if you ask us. But before you start stockpiling Blu-rays and Red Vines, consider another option. Why not spend a weekend learning how all that incredible content is created? Get drawn into the world of professional animation when you visit our contest page to WIN a three-day pass to the CTN animation eXpo in Burbank, November 18-20. Then sketch your name on our Facebook and Twitter pages for extra entries, but don't dawdle; this contest ends on November 13, 2011.

In its third year, the Creative Talent Network animation eXpo continues its mission to inspire, entertain and educate through a wide selection of workshops, panels, live demonstrations and unique networking events. Sit in on a presentation devoted to the work of original Star Wars concept artist (and Darth Vader designer) Ralph McQuarrie, then check out his art in a dedicated gallery space. Hear from Pixar pros Alex Woo and Matt Jones, who will teach a live class on character expression through gesture drawing. And enjoy a discussion with Disney legends Ron Clements and John Musker, the co-writers/directors of Aladdin and The Princess and the Frog. Once you've mastered the craft, Sony Pictures Animation’s SVP of Creative Development Michael Lachance will explain the development process from pitch to picture.

They don't call Burbank "The Animation Capital of the World" for nothing. So pack up your pens and pencils and plan a pilgrimage when you WIN a three-day pass to the CTN animation eXpo. And don't forget some eye-drops; you won't want to miss any important frames by blinking.
